Subflare vs Apollo

Apollo and Subflare rarely compete for the same budget line, because they solve opposite ends of the funnel. Apollo helps you find people to contact. Subflare helps you work out which of the people already contacting you are worth prioritizing.

Short answer: If you don't have enough prospects to reach, Apollo is built for that. If you have plenty of inbound leads and don't know which ones deserve a call first, that's what Subflare is built for. Many teams end up using both: Apollo for outbound, Subflare for scoring what comes in.

What Apollo does that Subflare doesn't

Apollo is a prospecting and contact database platform. It's built for finding people at target companies, verifying their contact details, and running outbound email/call sequences against them. If outbound is a meaningful part of your pipeline and your team needs more names to reach, that's Apollo's job, not Subflare's. Subflare doesn't build contact lists or run outbound sequencing.

What Subflare does that Apollo doesn't

Apollo can tell you that a contact exists and works at a company that fits your ICP. It can't tell you whether that specific inbound lead spent two weeks researching your pricing page before filling out a form, or just clicked an ad and converted on impulse. Subflare tracks that pre-form behavior and folds it into a lead score your reps see the moment a lead enters the CRM — so the same five demo bookings on a Monday morning don't all get treated the same way.

Do you need both?

Plenty of teams do. Apollo (or a tool like it) fills the top of the funnel with contacts. Subflare makes sure that once leads, outbound or inbound, start showing up in the CRM, your reps know which ones to work first. They're not competing products; they sit on different sides of the same funnel.
